Lasagna noodles
Spaghetti sauce
1lb lean ground beef
Onions, chopped
Garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1-2 Tbsp sugar
Salt
pepper
Dash of dried basil
8 oz. regular cream cheese
½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
2 eggs
Procedure
- Cook about 9 lasagna noodles (makes 3 layers) according to package instructions and set aside.
- Cook sauce. Saute garlic and onions. Add ground beef and season with soy sauce. Cook uncovered until beef is tender.
- Add spaghetti sauce, cover and bring to a boil.
- Add a dash of basil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- You may also add sugar to bring a little sweet taste for your little ones.
- Cheese topping: Beat egg and combine with cream cheese, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Mix until well blended.
- Lasagna layers: Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles side by side for the first layer.
- Spread spaghetti sauce and top with cheese mixture.
- Repeat until the third layer.
- Bake at 350F for about 25minutes.
